My client was downsizing and the buyer of her old home fell in love with her master bedroom furniture and linens. Perfect. My client’s design style had migrated from Traditional toward Transitional with a nod toward Mid-Century Modern. This perfect world combination allowed my client to sell her master bedroom furniture, bedding and drapes along with her home and start afresh. Nearly afresh. She kept her Feizy rug and Hancock and Moore chairs which she still loved, but she had the opportunity to select a new bed, nightstands, lamps, bedding and draperies. Newly commissioned art, a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling limestone fireplace, new nail down floors and a fresh coat of paint finish off her “perfect” master retreat.
