Master Bath: First Things First

My client’s home is in a great location in Keller, but was in need of updates to sell, but more importantly, updates to enjoy in the meantime.

Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and paint color are critical to making a home look “current”.  In this case, the master bathroom shouted for attention first.  With original carpet on the bathroom floor, time-stamped wallpaper, a short, inefficiently designed vanity cabinet with poured marble countertops and sinks, brass fixtures and an under-utilized whirlpool tub, a special-buy slab of Taj Mahal Quartzite was all it took to reinforce exactly where to start.

Extra design details include Walker Zanger glass accent tile for interest, double-framed mirrors, polished nickel plumbing fixtures and hardware, sconces that beautifully blend crystal with polished nickel, frameless shower glass that visually enlarges the space and a drop-in, indulgent soaker tub.

A timeless design my client will enjoy until they are ready to sell.

I suspect their kitchen will be next.
