Window Dilemma Resolved

My client’s window dilemma was not only resolved but the look improved.

The problem:  Operational Roman shades had literally shredded from exposure to the sun.  With an investment in two other custom tall window panel treatments with upper borders out of the same silk fabric, my client did not want to start over from scratch.

Our solution:  We scoured Kravet’s extensive line of faux raw silk fabric offerings to find a near-exact color and texture match.  The faux silk would hold up better in the sun, especially when lined with a blackout, protective lining.  We took advantage of the update opportunity to make the new Romans stationary, providing a consistent, crisper and more perfect look.  With pleated shades for privacy hidden behind the Romans, there was no need for dangling cords to tempt playful grandchildren.
