Kitchen Remodel in Steps

Sometimes budgets stand in the way of getting everything we might want in a remodeling project.  This client addressed that roadblock by implementing her kitchen reinvention in steps.

Phase One:

  • Tired faux travertine floors with stained grout were replaced by natural limestone with a stain-proof epoxy grout.
  • Yellowed cabinets were refinished with a rich espresso stain.

Phase Two:

  • New oversize subway glass tile backsplash with a sleek stainless stacked mosaic over the range eliminated what remained of an “Old World” look.
  • New 4.5″ louvered wood shutters with hidden tilt replaced wood blinds letting in more light and providing a better view of the pool.

My client now has the kitchen of her dreams accomplished with very livable steps along the way.
