More Lemonade Please

A little over a year ago I posted the before and after photos of a home “reinvented” after a devastating flood.  This Colleyville family had a choice:  restore to pre-flood condition to sell or reinvent to create their dream home:  a home that would meet their current tastes and lifestyle. They chose to reinvent. Now, a little over a year post construction, we have added the final touches:  new furnishings, rugs, window treatments and accessories in the living room, dining room, entry, master bedroom, kitchen and a room that doubles as a guest room and office.  Their previous style was traditional; their new style is more transitional.  Clean, de-cluttered, streamlined, simplified, fresh.  On the cusp of contemporary, but with hints of traditional lines and accents that offer warmth, comfort and elegance.

Enjoy the slideshow of the final result as well as some before and after photos to appreciate the transformation.  “When life gives you lemons…”

  1. Amy, this is inspirational on so many levels. What a blessing, to have a home they can settle back into, without leaving their beloved location. So many tragedies out there–this post was a heart-lifter. Thank you!
